Overviews & Summaries: Online Sources

Poetry for Students is available online through the library catalog from the Gale Virtual Reference Library. The catalog record will open. Click on "View Online," and you will be taken to the login screen. Click here for login information.

Enter the author's name and/or the title of the poem into the search box. Make sure that the check box to search all volumes is checked.

Overviews & Summaries: Online Sources

The Literary Reference Center Plus (produced by EBSCO), provides summaries and overviews from the Masterplots and Critical Survey series. Login is required. To search for a summary and/or overview, enter the author's name or the title of the poem (or a combination), leave all Document Types boxes checked, along with the Full Text box, then click Search. Note the use of quotes (optional) to designate the title as a phrase.
