World Hunger

In the time period between 2014- 2016, approximately one in nine people in the world suffered from want or scarcity of food. Although people in developing countries in Asia and Africa are most affected, hunger is a problem in the United States, in Northwest Florida and in our own community.  (www.worldhunger.org)

Use this research guide to learn more about the causes of world hunger such as poverty, high food prices, dietary practices, and climate change as well as information on efforts to end world hunger.
